All work and no play makes life dull. Even applications for the former are not enough during work hours, let alone leisure time. Since our new “A/V (Audio/Video)” section under “Resources” is not critical to your career as an author, we will not announce such offerings separately.

You might already know about some of these but likely not all, and we will not bother pointing you to the most common ones. While many of you are familiar with free (?) and/or preinstalled media applications, you might find one or two herein of interest.

These will not sacrifice your privacy for convenience, embed localized tracking code in your machine, or (most) glut your system with piped-in advertising. Have a peek!
